Wellbeing and success are closely linked

Deterioration in academic performance is often caused by emotional factors, initially manifesting as a child's withdrawal, which can later develop into apathy, unexcused absences, aggressive behavior, and more. The EMU, or Emotions, Learning, and Behavior surveys, help identify risks and take preventive action to enhance both student wellbeing and protect their grades.

Learning Mode
Learning Mode 82%

In the assessment of the student and/or parent, the student is not currently experiencing skill or other difficulties that significantly impact the learning process or the ability to build relationships with peers. However, always compare these results with your observations and information obtained from the student's family members or other significant sources.

Balance Mode
Balance Mode 2%

In the assessment of the student and/or the parent, the student currently exhibits some skills or other types of difficulties. However, according to the provided responses, these do not significantly affect the learning process or the ability to form relationships with peers. Typically, in balance mode, the student can be strengthened with a few Grade methods. If the student's lack of skills or difficulties do not increase, additional support from specialists will most likely not be necessary.

Help Mode
Help Mode 16%

In the assessment of a student and/or their parent, the student is currently experiencing significant skill-based or other types of difficulties that substantially impact their learning process or relationship-building with peers. Due to these challenges, the student may be unable to fully engage in their studies or form positive relationships with peers and adults. These difficulties are unlikely to diminish without additional individual support.

What EMU Provides

From Understanding Well-being to Taking Action

Surveys

Wellbeing significantly impacts academic success. EMU regularly conducts wellbeing surveys for students, parents, and teachers, allowing schools and municipalities to gain a more comprehensive understanding of each student.

School Life

Surveys reveal aspects of school life that grades don’t show – belonging, motivation, relationships, and stress, allowing us to identify students in need of support early on.

Support

EMU includes a dedicated module for support staff (psychologists, social educators, and special educators) to create, coordinate, and follow individual support plans.
